Slip Ring Assembly Instructions for the SeeSnake® microREEL®, microDRAIN™, and NANOreel® Camera Reels

Follow these instructions to learn how to set up your slip ring with a RIDGID® SeeSnake® microREEL, microDRAIN, or NANOreel system.

Interconnect Cord Guide+ 6x screws

Disassembly

  1. Remove interconnect cord from guide, and rotate slip ring into the unlock position.
  2. Unscrew the 6 screws from the interconnect cord guide. Remove the guide and slip ring.

Assembly

  1. Remove shipping cap from new slip ring assembly.
  2. Insert the slip ring into the cavity with the arrow aligned with the unlock position. Press the new interconnect cord guide above the slip ring, and screw into place with the provided screws.
  3. Rotate the slip ring into the locked position.
  4. Connect the interconnect cord to the slip ring by aligning the pins on the connector with the plug on the slip ring. Tighten the outer locking sleeve to hold into place.

CA-350 Adapter

Disassembly

  1. Remove interconnect cord from guide, and rotate slip ring into the unlock position.
  2. Unscrew the 6 screws from the interconnect cord guide. Remove the guide and slip ring.

Assembly

  3. Rotate the slip ring into the locked position.
