Update Your SeeSnake CSx Device
Updating the software on your RIDGID® SeeSnake® CSx series device ensures you have access to the latest features and improvements for SeeSnake plumbing diagnostic equipment.
Keeping your software up-to-date ensures you’re able to use:
- Digital self-leveling on the SeeSnake Mini Pro
- Auto image flip on the microREEL APX and microDRAIN APX
- All features included with every TruSense-enabled camera reel, including high dynamic range imaging and the TiltSense inclinometer
The easiest way to update your device is through the free SeeSnake HQx Live app and HQ Software for Windows. You can also download the software on this page and update your monitor manually. Read the instructions below for the method you are using to update your monitor.
Steps
You can update your CSx monitor through a mobile device with the SeeSnake HQx Live app.
1. Open HQ on a PC. 
Click here if you don’t have HQ installed.
2. Click the Update button in the top-right corner and select the product.
3. Follow the steps in HQ.
4. Power on the CSx monitor and follow the on-screen prompts.
The process will take several minutes and the monitor reboots several times. The monitor alerts you when installation is complete. If the update is not successful, please try again. You can force an update by pressing the still photo key while powering on the device.
