About TruSense Firmware 2101.8.0

TruSense camera firmware 2101.8.0 brings digital self-leveling to microREEL APX and microDRAIN APX systems and applies system updates.

What’s New in 2101.8.0

  • Brings digital self-leveling to the microREEL and microDRAIN APX systems, upgrading them to the microREEL APX DSL and microDRAIN APX DSL
  • Changes default DSL settings for all DSL cameras
  • Removes software update modal that asks if the user would like to reboot now or later. New software will be installed on startup.

How to Update

  1. Install CSx software version 2.22.18 or CSx Via software version 2.5.8 or later onto your device.
  2. Connect the updated monitor to a TruSense camera system. The monitor will begin updating the camera’s firmware in the background. This process usually takes 20-30 minutes, and its progress can be tracked in the TruSense settings found in your CSx monitor’s menu. You can continue to use your camera and monitor as normal while the update is being installed.
  3. When installation is complete, the correction will be applied the next time you restart your monitor.
  4. Note: If the system is powered down while the installation is in progress, the monitor will resume installation from the same spot when connected and powered back on.
